Enocean
EnOcean GmbH is the developer of the patented energy harvesting wireless technology marketed under the Dolphin brand. Headquartered in Oberhaching, near Munich, the company produces and markets self-powered wireless sensor solutions for batteryless applications in the Internet of Things, which are used for building and industrial automation, smart homes and LED light control. The EnOcean products are based on miniaturized energy converters, ultra-low power electronics and robust radio technology in open standards. Leading product manufacturers have been relying on EnOcean wireless modules for their system solutions for the past 15 years and have installed the products in several hundreds of thousands of buildings around the world. The Dolphin modules use the energy harvesting principle, in which energy is obtained from the surroundings, to supply self-powered wireless sensor networks. The modules are based on miniaturized energy converters that convert motion, light or temperature differences into electrical energy. Together with an efficient energy management system, the energy harvesting technology facilitates communication between maintenance-free IoT devices based on open wireless standards, such as EnOcean, ZigBee and BLE. The solutions are used in building automation, smart homes, LED light control systems as well as industrial applications.

Description:

With EnOcean Tool you can configure features and read information of selected EnOcean products via the NFC interface of your smartphone. EnOcean modules use the energy harvesting principle, which extracts energy from the environment to supply self-powered wireless sensor networks. The battery-free wireless switches and sensors are completely maintenance-free and flexible in use. These energy harvesting sensors supply the data for the Internet of Things in a resource-saving, energy-autonomous and maintenance-free way – and thus help to use buildings, cities and industrial facilities more intelligently.

EnOcean Tool enables you to:
· read basic information
· configure the EnOcean Equipment Profile
· optimize energy consumption and transmission rate
· check energy harvesting features and performance e.g. lighting conditions
· set encryption level

Joda-Time
Deprecated Joda-Time is the most widely used date and time processing library, before the release of Java 8. Its purpose was to offer an intuitive API for processing date and time and also address the design issues that existed in the Java Date/Time API.
Kotlin
Kotlin is a cross-platform, statically typed, general-purpose programming language with type inference. Kotlin is designed to interoperate fully with Java, and the JVM version of Kotlin's standard library depends on the Java Class Library, but type inference allows its syntax to be more concise.Android mobile development has been Kotlin-first since Google I/O in 2019.
Okio
Okio is a new library that complements java.io and java.nio to make it much easier to access, store, and process your data.A modern I/O library for Android, Kotlin, and Java
Android API
The Android platform provides a framework API that applications can use to interact with the underlying Android system. The framework API consists of: A core set of packages and classes. A set of permissions that applications can request, as well as permission enforcements included in the system
Google Gson
Gson is a Java library that can be used to convert Java Objects into their JSON representation. It can also be used to convert a JSON string to an equivalent Java object. Gson can work with arbitrary Java objects including pre-existing objects that you do not have source-code of.
Retrofit 2
Retrofit is type-safe REST client for Android and Java which aims to make it easier to consume RESTful web services. ... Retrofit automatically serialises the JSON response using a POJO(Plain Old Java Object) which must be defined in advanced for the JSON Structure.
Square OkHttp3
HTTP is the way modern applications network. It’s how we exchange data & media. Doing HTTP efficiently makes your stuff load faster and saves bandwidth. OkHttp is an HTTP client that’s efficient by default: HTTP/2 support allows all requests to the same host to share a socket. Connection pooling reduces request latency (if HTTP/2 isn’t available). Transparent GZIP shrinks download sizes. Response caching avoids the network completely for repeat requests. OkHttp perseveres when the network is troublesome: it will silently recover from common connection problems. If your service has multiple IP addresses OkHttp will attempt alternate addresses if the first connect fails. This is necessary for IPv4+IPv6 and for services hosted in redundant data centers. OkHttp supports modern TLS features (TLS 1.3, ALPN, certificate pinning). It can be configured to fall back for broad connectivity. Using OkHttp is easy. Its request/response API is designed with fluent builders and immutability. It supports both synchronous blocking calls and async calls with callbacks.
