Not functioning, “internal overhaul”

I don’t know why they are still letting people download this app. The company is not serving new customers.

I’m negotiating with dealers no more!

I’m so happy that I used Fair to get my minivan. The process was smooth and drama free. I got approved very easily and I get to see all cars, models, prices, etc. Daisy A. from Customer Service was amazing. She walked me throughout the whole process and celebrated with me once I got my car. The best about this app this is that I don’t need to negotiate with the dealers anymore and still get a great deal!!! I’m planning to keep using fair after my lease ends. Thank you fair !!!

Terrible business, no support

Got a Fair car in Texas. Great concept, problem is the company completely abandoned their Texas operations with no explanation. They stopped invoicing me for 6 months and then tried to repo the car. Bizarre situation. Still can’t access my account so I’m just returning the car, which is the clumsiest operation I’ve ever seen. The business model was really convenient so it’s unfortunate they haven’t put more effort into running the business.

Worst car dealer experience

My experience with Fair was great when I first got my car. I kept it for around three years and recommended the service to many friends and family that wanted a car lease without a 3 year contract. The problems began when I changed my phone number. Since the only way to access your account is through their mobile app, which is linked to your phone number, there was no way for me to access it and make payments. I received notices informing me that they would repossess the car if I didn't pay. It took over 20 calls/emails/chats, many hours on the phone being transferred from one department to another. Weeks of waiting and not being able to access my account and the stress of constantly having to try to communicate with their support team. The fact that you can only access your account via a mobile app linked to a phone number shows how flawed their system is. This frustration caused me to return the car since I didn't want to keep dealing with their lackluster customer service. I scheduled the pickup and they picked up the car a few days after. Finally what I thought was a sign of good customer service. I did receive a notification for my upcoming scheduled pickup many days after the car was already gone. Again, a sign of poor service in their logistics department. Weeks after the car was gone, I received an invoice for the wear and tear of my car. $1,305 in minor repairs(primarily paint scratches) on a car that's worth no more than 7k. By the time I received the invoice, the repairs had already been done and there was no way for me to contest it or try to find a cheaper price to do the repairs somewhere else. When I inquired about the excessive cost of repairs I was told it already had a 40% discount. If I hadn't already spent many hours dealing with their support team, I would try to contest this, but I doubt it would go anywhere other than more wasted hours on my end. Instead, I'm writing this hoping to prevent people from doing business with this company.
