This app couldn't find any of the hospitals, clinics, doctors, pharmacies, or urgent care facilities up to the max 100 mile search area from my location although I'm surrounded by them. I wanted something that would be useful when I travel. The rest of the info this app has is generic info I can find easily by web or phone call. It certainly isn't worth the screen space it uses on my phone, much less the memory.

Just use the web site
Not a very useful app except that you can look up doctors but even that is not very good. I immediately in-installed this app and just used the website.

A useful tool while seeking Healthcare providers or even discounts on the go
This app really assists with seeking providers while on the move. I like that I can access the healthcare provider listings and phone numbers without having to sit at my computer. Don't most people make appointments while on a break at work or an unexpected free moment? My only criticism about the provider listings is that they do not incorporate the healthcare providers participation status such as PPO participating or not. I have to call the doctor's office or the insurance company to find that out. Still, this does help to give me an idea of the closest providers when I'm busy and on the go.
I also like the discounts link. Most of the discounts listed I never even knew I could get as a member of Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield! But I think that's new to the insurance overall.
As far as the mobile health information, I like that I can click on a WebMD-like avatar on the body part that is experiencing a symptom and see a list of general possible causes. But don't expect to go much further. The information was made for reading quickly, briefly, and while on the move. So you'd still need to go to a site like WebMD or MedicineNet (or even the Highmark website itself) to read up on the conditions. Or probably what they want you to do -- see your doctor!
Overall, this is a step in the right direction. I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot more insurance companies start to develop apps like this for their members, but it's nice to know that the dollars I spend on my health insurance are focused on simplifying my life when it comes to my healthcare.
