Nanso was founded in 1921 as a dyehouse. Throughout the years, it has developed into one of the largest clothing industry companies in Finland. The operations have been developed extensively in recent years. In 2001, Nanso purchased the tricot production of Finnwear. After the merger of Vogue Group Oy and VG Production Oy with Nanso at the turn of the year, the group assumed the name Nanso Group Oy. Nanso's product potfolio has developed along with the company. Currently Nanso holds the clothing brands Nanso, Black Horse and Finnwear and the pantyhose and sock labels Vogue, Norlyn and Amar. Nanso Group's headquarters and main production facilities are located in Nokia. The company has production units also in Tornio and Tallinn. In August 2007, Nanso Group launched its new logistics centre in H_meenlinna.
