Perhaps best known for our races, NYRR holds over 50 events a year including the New York City Marathon. We draw runners from all walks of life including novice, recreational, celebrities and elite athletes plus have over 60,000 members nationwide! Our passion lies in our mission _ to make running accessible to everyone! That is why, in addition to our races and group training, we have a Youth and Community Services arm which is really the heart of our organization. WeÍre passionate about bringing the best possible running experience to all our members but we are truly moved by the work we are able to do for our communities. Currently serving over 215,000 children, we bring free running and wellness programs to students, seniors and families fostering physical fitness, character development and personal empowerment.

The NYRR app also lets you search decades of past results of races including the TCS New York City Marathon. Plus, it provides instant access to results post-race and lets you follow your friends and family members in real time via our live tracker.
The easy-to-navigate menus also allow you to learn more about NYRR, shop for cool merchandise, and donate to our free youth programs, which serve more than 267,000 kids each year. Outside of a pair of shoes, this app is everything you need to get in the action and experience the fun and excitement of NYRR events.
Finally, the app is your chance to learn more about one of our latest initiatives, NYRR Open Run, a program that brings free weekly walks/runs to local parks across the five boroughs, and to sign up to participate at the location nearest you.
