Using by compulsion, not choice.

I use Questrade because they’re better than the Canadian alternatives. TERRIBLE AI, looks like it was designed in the 90’s. iOS app logs you out ever 5 minutes, customer support is non-existent. I am not alone, this sentiment is shared by most users of Questrade. QT has been preaching about a new phone/website design for over a year but has done nothing to delivery. Use it if you HAVE to, otherwise stay away.

Not the best app

Slow and not user friendly - feels like they just took their web app and squished it onto mobile without optimizing it fully. The other thing is I often have issues logging into the app in the first place. It will just show as loading and won’t let me login with Face ID. I end up reopening the app over and over until it works.

Worst process for business margin

I have been trying to open business margin account since Feb 5 2021 and today is March 16 2021. What a mess process is for all the documents and review team. I would go to bank and open the account in one day and here the technology can not figure it out in more than one month. Totally disaster with banking deposits, confirmation of business account and getting the knowledgable person on phone.

Keeps freezing

Why is it that a broker which makes so much money from commissions cannot create an app that is reliable and doesn’t keep freezing when loading information? This nulls any user-friendliness it may provide. Get it working properly!

Give me my money back

I deposited 1.5k into the account as part of registration process, decided to withdraw it (i hadnt started trading) because i found a way better app that starts with W and ends with E. It’s now day 43 since my request to get the deposit back and they still cant give it back. Silver lining is that the stock market has been underwhelming during this period just like this one star - if I could, I’d give 0 star - that I’m giving. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!
