Great service with a smile!

I have used this shopping option weekly for the past year & love it. It is set up well-you can update your order until midnight & see any unavailable items in email once the shopper is finished. You get a text when your order is ready for pickup. The delivery is prompt & the employees are unfailingly polite & helpful. Yes, there are a few produce items that I select in store personally, but the service is a huge time saver & a huge help for seniors during the pandemic. My only request would be some way to avoid accumulating a million plastic bags- they can’t take them back for your next order or use my reusable bags. All in all, kudos to Safeway for a great shopping option.

Convenience vs. quality

I love the convenience! BUT... 99% of the time I order and pick up I have several items that are listed “out of stock” on my receipt sheet. But these items were not listed as out of stock when I ordered using the app. Another con is that my fruit is not always ripe. I tend to get a very bad selection of fruit. It’s either too hard or there’s been times where my strawberries had mildew at the bottom. They should do a better job at choosing fruits and vegetables.

Best service ever

It was so wonderful getting my groceries delivered. I’ve been waiting for Safeway to delivery in my zip code (97701) for a long time. My delivery person was so nice and helpful. This was outstanding service. My only complaint was there were a few items out of stock and no opportunity to substitute. Overall though this is a 5 star shopping and delivery experience.
