This is Great!

AT LAST!! They finally got it right. UI is efficient and easy. Easy to search, and easy to read. Downloadable for offline reading and much much more. Thank you, thank you,, thank you. A joy to read the e-edition again!

Reliability Dropping

I have been a subscriber to the Sac Bee e-edition ever since I dropped the printed paper last year. There are instances where I have found that certain parts of the paper had not been scanned properly and it was just a jumbled, unreadable mess. So I have canceled by e-edition subscription and find my news elsewhere. Goodbye for good.

Tired of looking for news that's not there

I've wasted so much time looking for Sacramento Bee articles that flash up on my ipad, but haven't been loaded to the site yet. This app is garbage and from now on when they flash up an article I'm interested in, I'll Google it instead and read it on a site that doesn't entice readers with an empty headline.

E-edition problem

Why is it that whenever I finish reading the current edition and open up a previous copy is it impossible to reopen the current edition. I use an iPad Pro with current software. This is most annoying ! This situation has just recently started and is driving me nuts! Fix it please.

Don't buy this app

Sometimes this app works and when it does its great. However it often doesn't work and there are no refunds for undelivered papers. Be wary.

Good but could be better

I'm rarely home, so I like this app because I get the "paper" wherever I am. I appreciate the ability to download the whole paper when wifi isn't always available and the annual fee for the e-edition is less than the desktop version. But, there is a lot of room for improvement. The desktop version is typically available by 4am. The e-edition often isn't available until after 7am or later -not great if you are traveling east and not good if it isn't available until after 8am. The desktop version gives you the ability to read the papers for the previous 14 days. I like reading editorials and they often counter and refer to a previous editorial. The e-edition only lets you see the last 7 days of print. Also the desktop version allows you to print or email a page of the paper to save important article. The e-edition does not.

Assets Library Framework
In iOS and OS X, the Photos framework (formerly known as Assets Library framework) provides classes that support building photo editing extensions for the Photos app. In iOS, the Photos framework also provides direct access to the photo and video assets managed by the Photos app, including the iCloud Photo Library. Use this framework to retrieve assets for display and playback, edit their image or video content, or work with collections of assets such as albums, moments, and iCloud Shared Albums.
Core Foundation Framework
Core Foundation is a framework that provides fundamental software services useful to application services, application environments, and to applications themselves. Core Foundation also provides abstractions for common data types, facilitates internationalization with Unicode string storage, and offers a suite of utilities such as plug-in support, XML property lists, URL resource access, and preferences.
Core Graphics
The Core Graphics framework is based on the Quartz advanced drawing engine. It provides low-level, lightweight 2D rendering with unmatched output fidelity. You use this framework to handle path-based drawing, transformations, color management, offscreen rendering, patterns, gradients and shadings, image data management, image creation, and image masking, as well as PDF document creation, display, and parsing.
Core Telephony Framework
Use the Core Telephony framework to obtain information about a user’s home cellular service provider—that is, the provider with whom the user has an account. Carriers can use this information to write applications that provide services only for their own subscribers. You can also use this framework to obtain information about current cellular calls.
Foundation Framework
The Foundation framework provides a base layer of functionality for apps and frameworks, including data storage and persistence, text processing, date and time calculations, sorting and filtering, and networking. The classes, protocols, and data types defined by Foundation are used throughout the macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS SDKs.
Launch Services
macOS Launch Services is an API that enables a running app to open other apps or their document files, similar to the Finder or the Dock.Launch Services eliminates apps having to query the Finder to open an app, document, or URL for them. The macOS Finder itself uses Launch Services to perform such tasks. Because the Finder performs no additional processing beyond calling Launch Services, any client using Launch Services for these purposes behaves identically to the Finder.
MobileCoreServices
Use uniform type identifier (UTI) information to create and manipulate data that can be exchanged between your app and other apps and services using MobileCoreServices.
System Configuration F...
This collection of documents describes the programming interfaces of the System Configuration framework. The System Configuration framework provides functions that determine the reachability of target hosts in both a synchronous and an asynchronous manner. It also provides error detection facilities.
UIKit
The UIKit framework (UIKit.framework) provides the crucial infrastructure needed to construct and manage iOS apps. This framework provides the window and view architecture needed to manage an app’s user interface, the event handling infrastructure needed to respond to user input, and the app model needed to drive the main run loop and interact with the system.
