The UPC TV app allows you to watch your favourite TV channels and popular movies and series anytime, anywhere within Switzerland.

The UPC TV app is available to all UPC Switzerland customers. The content available in the UPC TV app is dependent on your subscription: number of TV channels, access to Replay or to movies and series.
The UPC TV app offers the following features for all UPC customers:
- Home page including easy access to the most popular programmes and personal content
- Watch TV – overview of live programmes with direct link to streaming
- TV Guide including programmes up to 7 days in the future and 7 days in the past
- Web Video – an aggregated catalogue of short-form videos, based on the most popular sources from the web
- Saved section – offering the possibility to customise the personal content such as Continue Watching list or your Watchlist
- Settings – including the possibility to customise the TV channels list, enable or disable streaming via mobile data, parental control, streaming quality and more.
- Chromecast and AirPlay support for streaming

Based on your subscription, you may also have access to these features:
- Replay for up to 7 days in the past, also available to download for offline viewing at your convenience
- Movies and series and kids’ content (also available to download)
- MySports offering 18 sports channels – as a subscription or Day Ticket

UPC TV app features specific to UPC TV Box customers:
- Synchronized content between the app and the box: some list of TV channels and same list of moves and series.
- Recordings up to 2000 hours of TV programmes (future or live) from UPC TV app or box; the list of recordings is fully shared between the different devices
- Watch on TV (on UPC TV Box) any video from the app or use the function ‘Watch on this device’ to continue watching on your mobile device a video started on TV
- Continue watching, Watchlist, Rented and Recordings lists in the Saved section fully synchronized between the UPC TV app and box
- Rented movies and series on the UPC TV Box can be watched in the UPC TV app as well

You will need to use your My UPC account to log in to the UPC TV app.

Non-Streaming Sender werden nicht mehr unterstützt...

Mit der neuen Version wurde die Funktion „am TV-anschauen“ für die Non–Streaming Sender leider entfernt. Z.B. TNT–Film lässt sich mittels Tablet auf dem TV umschalten. Kabel Eins Classic dagegen nicht mehr. Schade.

GUTE TV-SENDER APP !!!

Alles in allem funktioniert die App gut und überzeugt mich. Mängel bzw Verbesserungsvorschläge : App stürzt hin und wieder ab. Gut fände ich mehr deutsprachige Sender und sie sollten sich nummerieren lassen.

iPhone X Support

Das neue iPhone wir leider immer noch nicht ubterstützt. Relese dieser App und auch das Update erschienen lange nach der Vorstellung vom neuen iPhone. Eine Anpassung an das neue Display bringt ihr aber nicht zustande. Swisscom hat das innert kürzester Zeit umgesetzt. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht cob UPC.

Core Foundation Framework
Core Foundation is a framework that provides fundamental software services useful to application services, application environments, and to applications themselves. Core Foundation also provides abstractions for common data types, facilitates internationalization with Unicode string storage, and offers a suite of utilities such as plug-in support, XML property lists, URL resource access, and preferences.
Core Graphics
The Core Graphics framework is based on the Quartz advanced drawing engine. It provides low-level, lightweight 2D rendering with unmatched output fidelity. Core Location Framework
The Core Location framework lets you determine the current location or heading associated with a device. The framework uses the available hardware to determine the user’s position and heading. You use the classes and protocols in this framework to configure and schedule the delivery of location and heading events. You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.
Foundation Framework
The Foundation framework provides a base layer of functionality for apps and frameworks, including data storage and persistence, text processing, date and time calculations, sorting and filtering, and networking. The classes, protocols, and data types defined by Foundation are used throughout the macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS SDKs.
Launch Services
macOS Launch Services is an API that enables a running app to open other apps or their document files, similar to the Finder or the Dock.Launch Services eliminates apps having to query the Finder to open an app, document, or URL for them. The macOS Finder itself uses Launch Services to perform such tasks. Because the Finder performs no additional processing beyond calling Launch Services, any client using Launch Services for these purposes behaves identically to the Finder.

Use uniform type identifier (UTI) information to create and manipulate data that can be exchanged between your app and other apps and services using MobileCoreServices.
Quartz Core Framework
