Act Wild is for school-age kids, teenagers, families, cool people, animal lovers and visitors to Melbourne Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary and Werribee Open Range Zoo.

Now focused around 16 animals – From Tigers, Orang-utans and Gorillas to local threatened species such as the Leadbeater’s Possum and Orange-bellied Parrot - Zoos Victoria's first iPhone and iPod Touch app helps you do your bit to help these animals in the wild.

Watch videos, record your actions, check in to our Zoos, upload your photos, or read the latest Zoo Feeds blog posts. You can also view shopping tips, find local conservation events (in Victoria, Australia only) and find out more about Zoos Victoria's conservation campaigns such as Don't Palm Us Off and Wash for Wildlife.

Terrible

I brought a membership today and thought I'd download the app, it couldn't be any less helpful. Needs a map and timetable for activities, shows special agents ect. I opened it once and deleted it straight away, needs an upgrade and an update. (I had a warning that it may make your phone run slow- after I downloaded of coarse!)

Too confusing and redundant

Its not clear enough that its the official app of your zoos. This app should just be called "Zoos Victoria" with the logo. once you open the app its really pretty useless, would be very popular if it was a tool to help visitors around each of your zoos. Interactive, easy to use maps, times for animal feeds or safari buses or even pre purchased tickets. this app has potential to be very usefull for customers and zoos victoria but lacks anything other then the tired old social network nonsense and information on only a handful of animals. Please make an app that is actually easy to find and useful to use.

Very poor

Crashes on feeds page. Just a map with nothing on it on events page. Just wanted to know what events/feeding times are happening today while we're at the zoo. This info is not available. Totally useless.
