With the Alterna Savings app in your pocket or purse, you can log in with your online banking details to:
• View your account activity, balances and recent transactions
• Manage multiple accounts - banking, investments and credits
• Pay bills now, or set them for a future date
• View and edit upcoming scheduled bills and transfers
• Easily transfer money between your accounts
• Email money to anyone else with a deposit account at a Canadian Credit Union or Bank with Interac® eTransfer
• Receive messages about your account on your phone

• Display your balances at-a-glance without having to log in (you must enable this feature)

Your security is top priority, which is why our mobile banking app uses the same level of secure protection as our full Online Banking. You log in with the same credentials, and once you log out or close the app your secure session will end.

Great little app

I particularly like that I can see my balance without logging in. So handy for those moments before big purchases. My phone is pass locked and the app shows no other info, so I'm not worried about the security.

Great app, i like the way it shows ur accounts balance without login in. This also can be turned off and on. Good job alterna, better looking app than TD.

Not bad!

The user interface is clean. I like the ability to remember different accounts. App seems quite functional overall. I won't ever use the Quickview feature (security concern, as another reviewer mentioned), but it can be turned off (I can't remember if the default was off, but if not it should be IMO). Three deficiencies rob this app of one star: - ATM finder is crying out for a map view (similar to Alterna's ATM Finder app). - There seems to be a "Please wait…" pause when switching to every page. Typically not long, and I could understand some pausing here and there, but not everywhere (why a pause loading the settings page or the help page, for instance)? Perhaps some code optimization would help. - The app warns that you stay logged in when switching to another app. This is good. Adding a setting to auto-logout after some period would be even better (if this already is the case, I couldn't find it in the settings or help).

It's not a good idea to show the balance with out login to the account. It's a security concern.

Core Graphics
